Since 1829 Laguiole En Aubrac has been handcrafting beautiful knives. The attention to detail and
precise assembling of each knife is carried out by craftsmen, guaranteeing each knife is unique.
The cutler starts and finishes each knife himself. The handles are hand worked and hand fitted. The
blades are of the finest 12C27 stainless steel and all handle materials are carefully chosen and fitted.
These beautiful table knives are presented in a mahogany stained box with lid.

Marquetry handle with the solid brushed stainless bolsters and hand carved spine make an elegant
statement. The polished blades are forged 12C27 stainless steel full tang. The spine and Laguiole Bee are
one piece and hand chased.
But it is the beautiful marquetry handle which sets these steak knives apart. The inlaid woods are Wenge,
Rosewood, Juniper Wood, Olive Wood and Saint Martin Wood with Ebony liners.
Each piece is handcrafted by the same cutler who carries out the whole operation from A to Z and at the
end may add his signature mark to the finished knife.
