This Laguiole Nature knife Guilloche pattern is the premium line - in addition to the classic finishing, this
knife will have the plates, the blade top and the internal part of the spring fully chiseled. This stainless
steel lockback laguiole has the traditional graceful style of the Laguiole knife and has been updated to
include a smooth locking blade system. 12c27 brushed stainless 3 mm thick full hand chased blade
hardened up to 54Hrc with Solid brushed stainless bolsters on 1.20 mm thick plates and a Forged lock-
back spring. The whole spring (including inside) and bee are then hand-chased with a file. These details
create a unique Laguiole knife, making each knife one of a kind. The handle is thick slabs of 1st choice
Stag.
A solid hardened blade stop is provided. That helps maintain the edge of the blade. In keeping with
tradition it is hand assembled with nickel silver rivets and Old style with filed forged bee. Numbered
guarantee certificate, leather slip sheath and blue suede blue gift box is included with each knife.
All knives are signed Gilles® by the maker and are discreetly stamped “hand made in France”.

The handle of this hand made knife is 1st choice 5mm thick slabs of Juniper Burl. The Blade is Swedish
Stainless Damascus steel, Rose Patterned 120 layers, 3.5 mm thick with a hardness of 54 Hrc. The spring
is made from a 3mm thick stainless steel Z20c13. A solid bladestop is provided on the spring which
insures the a longer edge to the blade. Brushed stainless steel bolster.
Instead of the traditional solid bee forged into the spring the Vendetta features the embossing of the
Corsica Island. The whole spring is hand chased with a grinding file. Stainless steel 1,2 mm thick plates.
The handle is assembled using traditional hand made silver nickel rivets.
