This beautiful and elegant pocket knife from Le Fidele is a creation from the 1940’s to be a more refined
version of the Laguiole Knife. The emblem at the top of the spine was used because it was considered to
be nobler. The knife’s shape is more subtle with sleeker lines than the traditional Laguiole and has a
more modern rendition of the heavier Laguiole. The satin finish blade with blade stop is 12C27 with the
name and Lotus emblem engraved on it. Forged stainless steel hand chased spine and solid stainless
steel satin finish bolster with stainless steel pivot pin. Exotic Ebony wood handle with stainless pins.
Supplied with brown leather slip sheath.

The legends surrounding the origin of the Vendetta knife begins around 1750 when Napoleon’s father, a
freedom fighter in Corsica, pioneered the Corsican Vendetta knife used to defend Corsica in the 1700"s.
Because of the unusual shape the knife became popular with all the inhabitants and was produced with
many variations and sizes. The government had to declare the longer knives illegal in order to suppress
use of these for bloody vendettas!
Still produced in Corsica and France, these beautiful knives are created with many different handle
materials and sizes. This knife features a satin finish 12c27 stainless steel blade with Vendetta Corse
etched on it, satin finish stainless bolsters and pivot pin. The hand chased stainless steel spine and
