This is the Military version of the Oso Negro. The only difference is the Markings. Aitor steel is
manufactured of a high carbon stainless steel which has a hardness rangre of Rockwell C 55/58 and is an
improvement over the famous 440C alloy. Blades crafted from these premium-grade alloys are heat
treated by an advanced system to enable AITOR's incredible "shaving sharp" edge. This incredible knife
has the feel and grip of a world class sports knife! It also makes a great hunting knife. The Anti-Slip
polyamide handle gives a positive grip in wet weather and is comfortable in heavy use. The spine on the
blade has a saw tooth that is double sided. The weight of the Cuchillo de Monte is balanced far out on the
blade, making it ideal for chopping wood.
This is the knife issued to the Spanish Military. The blade and sheath are stamped with the Spanish Navy
insignia. It is also manufactured for the Spanish special forces and Army.
